About this speaker

Agnieszka is a human rights specialist with 25 years of progressive experience driving strategies for civil society organizations to support human rights advocacy initiatives, activism, and more inclusive and participatory philanthropy. She has worked on projects centered on community development strategies, social impact, and facilitating cross-sector partnerships that drive innovative approaches to advance society within civil society and philanthropy. Agnieszka believes in the power of community and has been acting as a connector and using my voice and experience to elevate others and create networks and collaborative spaces.

She received a Master's degree in Democracy and Human Rights in 2019 from FLACSO and a Bachelor's in International Relations in 2014 from UNAM. Her work experience includes various positions in national and international human rights organizations, including the Executive Secretariat of the National Human Rights Network "All Rights for All," comprised of 70 pluralist, non-governmental groups from 23 Mexican states, all working in human rights education, defense, and promotion. Agnieszka is currently working as the Migration Program Coordinator at Fundacion Avina.
